A Glimpse Into the Evening

Please Plan to Arrive at 5:30 pm to Begin the Festivities:

We’re so excited to celebrate this special day with all of you! Our wedding will be a mix of cultures, heartfelt moments, good food, and fun surprises. There’s no strict schedule you need to follow—just come ready to enjoy the evening, connect with old and new friends, and celebrate with us.

Here are a few things to look forward to:

Cocktail & Appetizer Hour

When you arrive, grab a drink, snack on some light bites, and stop by our guestbook and Polaroid table. We’d love for you to snap a photo and leave us a note!

Photos with the Bride and Groom

After cocktails, we’ll also have a chance for photos with the bride and groom—so come say hi and smile with us!

A Short and Sweet Ceremony Moment

Once everyone is seated, we’ll introduce our wedding party and share a short, informal ceremony with a few words from us. It won’t be too long or too formal—just a special moment to celebrate love, family, and the beginning of our new chapter together.

The Feast Begins

Right after the ceremony, the first course of dinner will be served, and from there, the feast begins. We’ll be enjoying a 12-course family-style Chinese banquet throughout the evening, with dishes brought out course by course. There’s no need to rush—just sit back, relax, and enjoy each round as it comes!

Tea Ceremony

As part of our celebration, we will be holding a Chinese tea ceremony—a deeply meaningful tradition in Chinese culture. The tea ceremony is one of the most important wedding rituals, symbolizing respect, gratitude, and the formal joining of two families.

During this ceremony, we will serve tea to our closest elders—parents, grandparents, and other beloved family members—as a way to honor them and express our appreciation for their love and support as we embark on this next stage of our lives.

We’re excited to share this cultural moment with you, and hope it helps you get to know us—and where we come from—a little better.

Toasts, Traditions, and Mingling

Throughout the evening, there will be a few short toasts and light-hearted traditions (like a bouquet toss!). We’ll also be making our way around the room for table-to-table toasts—a chance for us to personally thank you, raise a glass, and share a moment with each and every one of you.

It’s one of our favorite parts of the night, and a perfect way to wrap up the celebration surrounded by the people we love most.
