We met in DC and fell fast!

Ava had moved here after law school and was deep in life at a big firm. Chris had just moved back to the DMV for a software job, trying to settle into a city that aways felt like home.

A few months in we took a spontaneous last-minute trip to Mexico. Somewhere between the beach and too much Tequila, we said "I love you" for the first time. Chris asked Ava to be his girlfriend and we haven't looked back since.

The three years since have changed us. We've grown up a little, figured out what we want, and built something special. We've made a home, traveled the world together, leaned on each other through the messy parts, and laughed and sang our way through most of the rest.

These days, home is the two of us, our dog Alfie and our Cat Ross who mostly tolerate each other and run the house. Whatever comes next, we're excited to take it on together
