Devin and Michael first met in August of 2019. Michael and Devin served together onboard USS New Hampshire in Norfolk, VA. Michael and Devin traveled to Nova Scotia, the Bahamas, Scotland, and Norway together. Devin enjoys playing video games, spending time woodworking, and tossing the ball with his two beautiful puppies, Woodie and Penny.

Elizabeth (Liz) Kline and Ava May have been in each others’ lives since the dawn of time (2009). At first, friends from the same church, they grew closer when the two joined Scouts BSA together in 2019, and ended up in their very own forced proximity trope (tent mates on camp outs). Since then, these pals have kept in touch through high school and their undergraduate degrees, and even built their own coffee review empire to survive the boredom of the summer of 2021: you could say they’ve bean there, done that, and now will tackle the hardest coffee review of them all—Boxed and Burlap for the wedding of the century.

Alex and Michael first met in Submarine School in Groton, CT in 2018. Alex and Michael were roommates for Torpedoman's Mate "A" School. Alex was stationed on the USS Michigan (Gold) in Bremerton, WA. Alex and Michael are enjoying being stationed together at Naval Station Great Lakes. Alex enjoys fishing, building Lego, and reading.

Alexis and Ava May met during their time at Appalachian State University when Ava May asked if the seat beside Alexis was open, and it has been history since. They have had some fun times together from backpacking a section of the Appalachian Trail to eating hotdogs at App State baseball games. Alexis enjoys hiking, identifying trees, and spending time with her friends and family.

Adam Darr, Husband to Evona Darr, is the Brother-in-Law to the Groom. Adam and Michael first met on May 6th of 2017. Adam enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with his wife and two amazing children, Gideon and Gennivieve.

Evona Darr, Wife of Adam Darr, is the Sister/Second Mother of the Groom. Evona and Michael first met on February 7th of 2000. Evona enjoys quilting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two beautiful children, Gideon and Gennivieve.
