We met in Elementary School, 3rd grade; Sam thought Avalon was bossy and didnt like her very much. Avalon only remembers that Sam passed out in her 5th-grade class. As the two of us went into middle school, we became closer friends because of the junior high group at church.

Avalon stopped going to church for some time. After a while, Sam forgot everything about her. Then suddenly one day she came back and his heart stopped. Just kidding. Apparently Sam’s heart didnt stop until he was dared to hold her hand at Del Taco.

Avalon: I started to like-like him that day because he was the only one who stood up for me and took me seriously at the time. He was and will always be the most caring and helpful person I know. I fell in love with him later on because he taught me how to truly trust someone with everything, and that is something I struggled with. I feel safe with him, and I will for the rest of my life.

Sam: technically… I didn’t start to like her until I hung out with my friends later that day. I started to have a crush on her when I found out that she was funny and could take my jokes. I started to love her a couple of months down the road and realized she was the one for me. She has always been there to push me to be my best; she has been my comfort in all things, and I have fallen in love with her so many times.
