Arron was born in Brainerd Minnesota and moved to Burlington ND when he was 5 years old. He graduated from Des Lacs Burlington and then furthered his education at Minot State University in finance and management. He is now a loan associate at First International Bank.

Averi was born and raised in Minot North Dakota. She graduated from Minot High School and then furthered her education at Minot State University in elementary education and special education. She works for Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports as a education coordinator/coach.

Arron and Averi met on the very first day of college golf practice during Averi’s junior year and Arron’s super senior year. From the start, there was something different — Averi, who is usually never at a loss for words, found herself struggling to talk to him, and Arron was just as nervous. What began as quiet moments and shared practices slowly turned into something deeper.

The moment Averi realized she had fallen for Arron came unexpectedly after picking him and a friend up from a night out. When Arron hugged her goodbye, it felt like home — a feeling of comfort, safety, and belonging that she had never experienced before. From that moment on, it was clear that what started on the golf course was the beginning of a love rooted in warmth, connection, and coming home to each other.
