Norfolk International Airport is a 2 hour drive to Manteo. They do not have shuttles that drive you to Manteo. We recommend flying in and renting a car! The drive is very easy.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport is a 3 hour drive to Manteo. If you choose to fly into Raleigh, we recommend renting a car and driving in. Just as Norfolk, the drive to Manteo from Raleigh is very easy!

We recommend everyone to stay in Pirates Cove for the wedding weekend! Pirates Cove Resort is a gated waterfront community located in Manteo, North Carolina. The wedding ceremony and reception will be located within Pirates Cove. Staying in Pirates Cove offers a convenient way for guests to be able to walk to the wedding from their rental (or a very short 2 minute drive!)

Accommodations range from one-bedroom waterfront condo rentals to seven bedroom houses.

Pirates Cove is nestled between Historic Downtown Manteo and Nags Head. You are minutes away from the beach!

Airbnb's are a great alternative if you do not want to stay in Pirates Cove! If you want to opt for an Airbnb, we suggest looking in Manteo or Nags Head!

Hotels are another great option. However, we would like to warn our guests that there will not be transportation to or from the hotels. Please plan accordingly!

Additionally, hotels can be a little far from Pirates Cove (ranging from 10 to 20 minutes).
