Avery and Michael met in Dallas, Texas, in September 2020. They met at a local restaurant and bar, Katy Ice House. Michael was celebrating his birthday with a group of friends and Avery was celebrating her friends birthday as well. Michael and a friend approached Avery’s table. While Avery was not in the mood to chat, Michael was persistent in wanting to get to know her. After getting to know each other, Michael asked for Avery’s phone number.

A few weeks later, they went on their first date and instantly knew they were meant for each other.
