Our sweet friends Jon and Sarah Hopkins decided to introduce us! They thought we had a lot in common and would hit it off!

Luke finished his Theology papers and reached out to Avery. We hit it off immediately and laughed at all the same movie quotes!

After meeting earlier that month at Jon and Sarah's, Avery and Luke went on their first official date to Treasury Coffee! We talked for hours sharing our testimonies and making one another laugh! After we got Mexican food and went to an antique shop.

After a few months of becoming close friends and meeting one another's families, we knew that we wanted to date officially. Luke asked Avery to go steady with him.

We both quickly saw that the two of us had the same calling and could serve the Lord better together. After many hours of phone calls and coffee dates, we decided that we loved one another.

Avery moved to Birmingham! The couple was no longer long-distance!

Luke proposed and Avery said YES!!
