Same Love, Smaller Ceremony

For personal reasons, we have chosen to have a small ceremony with our closest family and bridal party. Everyone will be invited to the reception to celebrate and party with us. Those invited to the ceremony will know based upon a separate invitation.

Happily Ever After Party

We will still have a formal reception with cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, dessert and ending the night with a dance party.

We have known each other since 2017 when we both got involved in Young Life our freshman year of college. We were placed as leaders in the same area, lived 1 street apart for 3 years and had mutual friends all throughout college. Throughout college, Avery thought Alex was cute and friends talked about setting us up. But… he was also getting set up by other people with other girls… bad timing… but it worked out in the end. Going into New Years 2023, we both were going out with a group of friends that we had. We were both excited that each other was going to be there and we hung out a lot that night. After that, Alex asked Avery out on a date a few weeks later by coming to her door with flowers. We started dating on March 20th 2023. After meeting each others families, spending time with friends, having intentional conversation about our faith, going on trips and lots of fun dates we knew we wanted to be together forever. A year and a half later Alex asked Avery to marry him on October 19th 2024. Now we get to celebrate with you all and love each other for the rest of our lives.
