The wedding is on July 14th, on July 13th the bride and groom will be hosting everyone for a brewery crawl and rehearsal dinner. Please plan to be present for afternoon - evening festivities on the 13th.
How do I get there?
Durango is a 12 hour drive from the DFW area where most of us are located! There are also flights into the Durango airport. We are not using a travel agent, please feel free to book flights and make travel plans at your discretion.
What time is the ceremony?
The ceremony will begin at 4pm, followed by a cocktail hour and reception.
How do I get to the ceremony site?
The ceremony site is called Paradise, and is accessible by ski lift. PLEASE PLAN APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR FOR RIDING THE LIFT). If you are unable to ride the lift for any reason, please reach out to Avery or Caleb as there is limited seating available in a van.
When should I RSVP? Who should I RSVP with?
You should RSVP with Avery by March 1st.
Do I get a plus one?
No. Only individuals listed on the invitation will be accommodated as there is limited space available.
What is the dress code?
Summer formal; no denim
What should women wear?
As Avery is not having a bridal party, the intention is to make everyone look semi cohesive for photographs, therefore Avery and Caleb request women wear warm sunset colors (red, orange, yellow, pink, warm florals) however this is a preference - not a requirement. As it tends to be a bit chilly up on the mountain top, a long dress might be most appropriate for the weather.
What should men wear?
No denim, this is a look good feel good event. Please wear semi formal - formal attire! This would include slacks and an elegant dress shirt or a full tux if your heart so desires. Just please, do not wear denim. I am so serious.
