Trivor Pai Adams

(Also known as: “Trivor like a River”)

It was my first day of college. Taylor and I had made friends with our neighbors, Victor and Tim, and were hanging out at their dorm.

“Hey this Asian guy we met at orientation is coming over to make us ramen,” Tim said.

Enter Trivor.

The ramen gesture could not have been a more perfect introduction to how this man operates. It was a forward, kind, and slightly unusual act that involved Asian food. The four pillars of Trivor. I quickly became very well acquainted with this eccentric oriental specimen.

I consider all of my groomsmen to be my brothers, but Trivor took it a step further and basically actually joined the Spicer family. Trivor has been to multiple family Easter’s, a family wedding, and multiple family vacations. My mom has even called Trivor her fourth son - a statement that someone with eight kids doesn’t take lightly.

Some of our other exploits include: a 14 hour road trip to Tempe, a resort trip in Mexico, a lake trip that included swimming a sunken jet ski a quarter mile (don’t ask), competing in a basketball skills competition at the USA, spring break in SPI, a week and a half in South Korea, and (in March 2025) a trip to Taiwan to watch Trivor marry the love of his life.

The ramen story perfectly encapsulates Trivor and how he is always willing to do something kind and selfless for his friends or even people whom he hardly knows.
