HOW TO GET THERE?

The ceremony and wedding party will be held at Barbarossa Beach Club located in the outskirts of Shumen, Bulgaria. It is located approximately 8km from the city center of Shumen and easily accessible by road.

BY CAR

If you are going to the venue by car, drive along the "Rishki prohod" boulevard (бул. Ришки проход) in the city's industrial zone and take a turn to the right when you see the Barbarossa sign. Drive for a few minutes and you will reach the parking lot of the venue. Google Maps should generally do the work. Also, do not be scared by the bad condition of the road :)

BY TAXI

If you do not have a car or you are not sharing a ride with someone, you can order a taxi from one of the following taxi companies:

A taxi ride from the center of Shumen to the venue should cost approximately 10 leva (~EUR 5).

We will enjoy the tailor made menu with local Bulgarian ingredients only, (homemade) drinks from our parents' cellars, and of course, cake! Looking forward to seeing you party with our friends and family!

For all our international guests who have not been to a Bulgarian wedding, we highly recommend you to go over the following two tutorials for our traditional dance called хоро (horo). No Bulgarian wedding goes without horo.

The first one is called Право хоро (Pravo horo) and it is the easiest one.

The second one is a bit more complicated but you will easily get it with a bit of practice. It is called Самоковско хоро (Samokovsko horo), but it is more commonly known as Бяла роза (Byala roza or White rose).
