Our Wedding

Ayden and Mackenzie's story began in 2016 on a high school marching band field. Despite sharing the same space at countless practices, they didn’t speak a word for months. Instead, their connection began in the most modern way: through texts and shy smiles from across the field. After Ayden reached out to Mackenzie through Instagram, they became addicted to each other, chatting endlessly and getting to know one another behind their phone screens. However, it wasn’t until a band trip to California that they finally said their first words in person. Ayden managed to merge his way into Mackenzie’s group for the trip in an attempt to get to know her more. After a few days of exploring LA, the San Diego Zoo, and Universal Studios Hollywood together, they went from never speaking a word to sharing cheese fries in the hotel lobby. Once they got back home after the trip, it only took a few days for Ayden to muster up the courage and ask Mackenzie to officially be his girlfriend. Since then, they've grown up together, sharing every chapter of life as best friends and companions for over seven years. From high school through college, through moments of joy and sorrow, gaining two beloved cats, starting their careers, and navigating all of life’s changes hand-in-hand - they’ve built a life rooted in love, friendship, and deep understanding. In June of 2024, Ayden and Mackenzie had arranged to take graduation photos on the Georgia Tech campus to commemorate their shared year of ending college. With caps, gowns, and a photographer ready, he got down on one knee and asked Mackenzie to spend forever with him. Now, in 2025, they’re thrilled to celebrate the next chapter of their journey with all the people who have loved and supported them along the way.
