Ayla's Version:

Jacob and I actually met a few brief times at some parties at Marian my junior year and his senior year. Our mutual friend Patti, who we still refer to as our "match maker", introduced us each time. After finally "meeting" the third time, Jacob asked for my snapchat. A week later, he messaged me and "wanted to borrow" my number so he could text me. Thennnn... a week after that, he asked me on a date to get coffee, which was perfect since we are both coffee fanatics. During that first date, we went to our now favorite coffee shop- Parlor- and talked about our lives and dreams, while Jacob interjected with his best fun facts.

Our relationship was one of the easiest things to happen. It was so natural and just flowed. We immediately became two puzzle pieces that complimented one another. Still today, we are each other's better half. Jacob continuously helps me grow as a person to better myself. Everything after our first date just solidified how in tune we were from the beginning.

The day Jacob proposed, I knew almost every detail. And no, not because I snooped, but I have the best intuition and he can't keep any secrets. Even so, he made it the most magical day. He proposed at the same museum as our second date, but in the gardens outside. He had a picnic set up that he and his sister put together, along with a bouquet of lilies (which are my favorite flower). He said nothing of the speech he wrote but it was still perfect. Jacob then surprised me with my family at dinner and surprised me even more with a small get together with our friends and families for dessert.

Jacob is my best friend and he makes it so easy to love him.

I had met Ayla a couple times before asking her out and I fully believed her name was pronounced ‘eye’-la. On our first date I loved learning about her and her family. The 2-3 weeks after our first date we were together almost everyday and the rest is history.

From the start I knew she was going to be very special to me. You can ask my best man, Alex, what I told him about a month after Ayla and I started dating. (I won’t tell you because I know Alex really wants to tell you all.)

Ayla brings the best out of me not only in my fashion, but also bettering myself, getting out of my comfort zone, and allowing me to be me, I'm just better with her! She drives me crazy but I also know I drive her crazy and that’s why we work!

I love Ayla and I know all of you do too. We cannot wait for you to celebrate our wedding with us!
