So, this is where it all began! Ayrin was on her way to a small group gathering with her church family - it was her second time going. Meanwhile, Zaheed planned to join another small group that night but the host did not answer his phone, so he ended up at the same small group as Ayrin. Towards the end of the evening, Zaheed was determined and very intentionally sat next to Ayrin to spark up conversation. That's when he found out she was going home to Cleveland, OH for the summer, and he just knew he needed to get time with her before she left. He asked her out for a friendly coffee date. At that coffee date, they sat and talked for hours.

They talked all summer. He made her laugh a lot! But they were still simply friends getting to know each other. Here, they are photographed with their brothers and sisters in the singles ministry of the Westside Church at the annual singles conference in San Diego, CA. Although Zaheed was persistent in his pursuit of Ayrin - Ayrin, at this singles conference, realized her feelings for Zaheed.

Zaheed took Ayrin on their first official date to go whale watching in Dana Point, CA. It was very romantic, and they had so much fun enjoying each other's company. You would think they were already dating, huh?

It was a beautiful day in Los Angeles, CA when Zaheed asked Ayrin to be his girlfriend. He planned a lovely lunch date with her at a place she really wanted to go to. Just before their lunch was over, Zaheed asked "Ayrin, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" "Yes!" Ayrin said with excitement. Then he took her to one of her favorite jewelry stores and brought her a gorgeous gold bracelet.

Ayrin joined Zaheed and his family for Thanksgiving in Rialto, CA. Then, Zaheed flew to Cleveland, OH to meet her family for Christmas. The two of them are very blessed that they were so well received by each other's families.

Well, what do you know! Zaheed and Ayrin share the same birthday! For their first birthday together, they enjoyed two lovely dinners.

What a blessed day it was when they celebrated their first Valentine's Day together! Zaheed planned for them to go to the art museum to check out the infinity mirrors exhibit. Ayrin loved it! Then on their way to the restaurant for dinner, they found out that Zaheed's car got towed. Let's just say it was a test of their patience with one another, and they passed the test! They ended the night at one of their local favorite restaurants where they exchanged cards and gifts.

Ayrin gained mentorship, and joined the high-level entrepreneurial thinktank Zaheed was already a part of. Their goals are to serve God, create financial independence from their jobs, pay off her student loan debt, become the best versions of themselves, help others, and be unified with a common vision. They are so fortunate to be learning from the top .001% of their industry about how to leverage their own online store, and win in every area of life!

Ayrin graduated from the University of Southern California with her Master of Science degree in social entrepreneurship, and she was so blessed to have Zaheed and so many of her family members and friends there to celebrate.

She was so shocked! Zaheed did an excellent job of planning their engagement day. He told her they were taking a special couple in their lives to brunch to encourage them, that they would be going to Manhattan Beach (which is her favorite beach), and that they would go on a prayer walk to kill time after church, but before the brunch. Before she could even take it all in, she screamed, screeched, and cried all at the same time when she noticed her mom, brother, friends, and family members hiding from her view, and holding balloons that said "will you marry me?" He also planned a surprise engagement party with so many of their family and friends. Cheers to their new life together!
