Our Wedding

We met in the Spring of 2022 after connecting online and talking over text for several weeks. We spent our first Summer getting to know each other over bonfires, beach trips, wedding dates, hangouts with friends, bar/restaurant dates, and nights in watching movies. As time passed we kept getting to know each other more, and our relationship continued to grow. The seasons changed and so did the dates, and there was quickly a love we shared that we were both ready to welcome into our lives. We started talking about the future, a future together, and started discussing the different possibilities that future may hold. There are so many different shapes our lives might take, but every single future we imagined sounded perfect, and the one constant was always that we were there together. We went on a date, ice skating under the lights on the moonlit lakes at Centennial Lakes Park one frigid Winter evening. While Bai was expecting a proposal at some point, it’s safe to say she wasn’t expecting it on that date night. I was happy to be able to surprise her, even though it was something she was expecting. We left that date as an engaged couple, eagerly looking to the future with the love we share and the rest of our lives in front of us to embark on together.
