Downtown Culpeper is a great little area to walk around and shop at some small businesses and there are some cute restaurants as well.
Plus this is the perfect weekend for shopping as well, with Friday being Black Friday and Saturday being Shop Small Saturday.

This would be more of a drive (a little over an hour from Lake of the Woods) but if you haven’t been to Shenandoah National Park it’s definitely something you should try to go to if possible! Depending on how the weather has been there is a possibility of some amazing fall colors still happening and Skyline Drive is a must do in our books!

The entrance in Stanardsville would be the one to do to get to Skyline drive then take that to the Harry F. Byrd SR Visitor Center if you are wanting a stamp or anything for the National Park.
