Our respective dog parents, Alex and Lane, met on a dating app. After a few coffee dates, they decided it would be fun to bring us along for walks on the beach, hikes and sometimes we'd all snuggle up on the couch to watch a movie.

Eventually, Alex and Lane decided to get married. We had the honor of being their best dogs at their wedding and we were an integral part of their wedding day. Little did they know that we had fallen in love, too!

A few weeks later, once our dog parents returned from their honeymoon, we went out for a spring hike. To my complete surprise, while we were rolling in the grass and sniffing the dandelions—they smell so good—Lucky looked at me with puppy dog eyes, presented a diamond ring and proposed that we spend the rest of our dog lives together. It was so romantic. And now I'll get Lucky for life.

Our dog parents were there to witness it and took these wonderful engagement photos for us to share the good news. You can see on our faces, the sheer joy we felt on that day. Pure unconditional love.
