Is there a dress code?
We kindly ask that you dress in your best semi-formal or formal attire for our special occasion.
For men, please wear a dress shirt, slacks, and a sports jacket or blazer. A tie is optional. Please avoid denim.
For women, please choose below the knee or floor-length dresses, or a dressy jumpsuit/ set. We ask that you avoid wearing shades of white, as those are reserved for the bride. Thank you!
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited capacity, we are unable to accomodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) + guest names". When you RSVP, you will be able to see the specific number of people we have included whom you can RSVP for,
Are kids welcome?
Although we appreciate everyone's desire to have their family join us on our special day, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone. We have decided to only allow the children of immediate family and first cousins! We kindly ask for your understanding and hope you can still join us for a fun celebration.
Where should we bring our wedding gift to?
We are so grateful for your presence on our special day! While that’s the greatest gift, if you wish to give something, please contribute to our honeymoon fund on our registry or in our card box at the wedding reception! Our registry tab can be found at the top of our website. Thank you!
Since there will be alcohol, what do we do about driving?
We will be providing an open bar! But, DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. We recommend using rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber) for transportation if you plan on drinking.
How will seating work?
The ceremony will have open seating, so you can choose where to sit. However, please allow immediate family to take the first few aisles. For the reception, we have carefully arranged the tables so that our guests can sit with those they know.
What do I do if I’m late for the ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 2:00 pm. We recommend that guests arrive between 1:00-1:15pm so there is time to mingle and find a seat. If you arrive late, someone will be there to inform you whether guests are still being admitted or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If you arrive after the ceremony, you will still be able to attend the reception. Thank you for your understanding.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there will be staff available to direct you to complimentary parking.
Please note, that there is a hefty fee for any vehicles left overnight.
Where do I stay if I'm arriving from out of state?
Out of town guests will find ample hotel options nearby. The closest hotels are off of the US-24 & I69 intersection, just 12 minutes from The Paddock. Downtown Fort Wayne is less than a 20 minute drive and offers additional hotel options and other activities within walking distance.
Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held indoors. Our cocktail hour will be outside and the reception will have the option of both!
Will you be serving dinner?
Heck yes and cake! Come hungry but, expect to eat a couple hours after the ceremony.
