Our Hometown
Hello our lovely out of town travelers! If you have a hotel near Kansas City, or Desoto- you may want to take the drive down to Lawrence if you're here for the weekend! Korbin and I have lived here together for almost two years and love it. We live close to Mass Street and walk downtown until we find something to eat, drink or do! There are endless options, but some of our favorites are Liberty Hall, Replay, Blade & Timber, Limestone and The Bourgeois Pig. Shoot me a text if there's any place you're curious about!
Hamburger Mary's Kansas City
Super fun place for drag brunches! Korbin went here with his Mom and Nana for his 16th birthday.
Town Topic Hamburgers Broadway
Town Topic has the best burgers and is the chillest diner in KC. This is where Korbin and I had our first ever hang out, at the time we were coworkers crushing on eachother. Followed by a concert at the Crossroads to see The War on Drugs. :)
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
Korbin and I both love this museum, there's so much to see and there is an amazing restaurant inside. Come see for yourself!
Union Station Kansas City
Union Station opened in 1914 as one of Kansas City's biggest architectural achievements. The building is now both a functional train depot and a destination, with restaurants, history exhibits, Science City, Theatres and more.
