Bailey and Devins story started on August 25th, 2014. It was Baileys first day at Dekalb ISD. She enters first period (English) Mr. Rays class. He informs her that the class is working on a group book report. Devins arm shoots up in the air and says she can join his group. From there it became the typical middle school relationship. Together one second, then broken up the next.

Fast forward to the summer after eighth grade, they come into a mutual agreement to just be friends. They had seen other people but none of them lasted and each time their friendship just grew stronger. Until October 9, 2019, Devin picked Bailey up for breakfast before school. During that drive, Devin asked Bailey to give it one more try at dating. She agreed, they entered school holding hands and sharing smiles.

Two years later, October 9, 2021. Devin came to Bailey's house with a gift, she opened the box and inside was a promise ring. They knew at that time their love would only grow and so on that night a promise was made.

Fast forward another two years, May 27, 2023. Baileys family planned a photo shoot. The pictures are going smooth, it's time for the couples to get their own pictures. Bailey and Devin are getting into their spot, but Bailey doesn't feel Devins hands around her waist anymore and hears Devin say, "turn around". Her heart starts beating fast because she knows what's waiting for her and cannot believe it. Devin repeats himself again "Turn around love". She does, and mouth drops at the sight Devin down on one knee holding the most beautiful engagement ring! Tears are falling as he slides the ring onto her finger. They share a hug and kiss as the family around them cheers them on. Wedding planning starts and now it's so close to their big day, but their story is far from being over.
