What is the address?
The Hidden Meadow and Barn
9602 Balsam Lane
Pepin, WI 54759
Will the ceremony and reception be at the same place?
Yes! We will be hosting the ceremony and reception (dinner & dancing) at the same venue. The Hidden Meadow and Barn is an outdoor venue located in Pepin, Wisconsin.
Where can we stay?
Refer to the "travel" portion of our website to see lodging/accommodation details. There are several great VRBO/AirBNB options in the Pepin area. We have a few listed and encourage you to check them out! There are also the Pepin Valley Cabins just up the road from our venue (walking distance if your dancing shoes can get you there).
Is it handicap accessible?
There is handicap parking available, as well as spacious bathroom stalls. There is a golf cart available for guests who would like a ride to the ceremony site!
Is the venue "kid friendly"?
There will be plenty of yard games for kiddos to enjoy, however there is not a designated "play area" for children, so please be mindful of the littles who may get brave when exploring!
The women's restroom has a changing station and there will be areas available for any nursing mothers as well.
Will the ceremony or reception be temperature controlled?
There is no a/c available at the ceremony or reception area. Since this is an outdoor venue, we will be completely relying on Mother Nature to bless us with the perfect day. It does cool down considerably at night, but again, this is an outdoor venue so please plan accordingly!
In the chance that temperatures dip down and it is chilly that day, there is heat available.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Please DO NOT bring your own alcohol! There will be bar services provided for the reception (beer, wine, hard seltzers, soda, and other n/a beverages).
Bringing outside alcohol (beverages you purchased elsewhere) violates The Hidden Meadow and Barn's liquor license. This includes tail-gaiting in the parking lot.
Will there be a shuttle service?
We do not have a shuttle service planned for our event. You may leave your parked vehicle overnight at the Hidden Meadow and Barn, it must be picked up by 9 a.m. the following day.
