It all began in November 2021, when a conversation about one of life’s greatest treasures—queso—brought us together on the dating app Hinge. That cheesy chat quickly turned into countless conversations about everything under the sun, and by February 2022, Will and I made it official.

At the time, I was navigating my first year in the “real world” as a dental hygienist, while Will was finishing his senior year at UC. Before long, I had fallen in love not only with him but also with his friends—who soon became mine, too.

When Will graduated in May 2022 and joined myself in post-grad life, he found his place in the world of commercial insurance, and we found our rhythm together. From our trips to Hilton Head, dinner dates, and endless coffee runs to the simple joy of grocery shopping side by side, we were inseparable (and still are).

In 2023, our little family grew when Will met his new best friend—our orange kitten, Maggie—who quickly became his favorite (besides me of course). Life filled up with laughter, shared memories, and meaningful family moments. From the simple joy of spending time with my nephews, Oakley and Crew, to the thrill of skiing down the mountains of Utah with the Lonnemans, I knew he was in it for the long haul.

Then, in early 2025, Will asked if I wanted to go ring shopping. I said “yes!” before he could even finish the question. Fast forward to May 2025, during one of our Hilton Head trips—on the oceanfront 15th hole of a golf course on Daufuskie Island—Will got down on one knee and asked me that question. And just like before, my answer came in 0.01 seconds: absolutely yes.

Now, as we prepare to make our lifelong promises surrounded by our favorite people, Will and I can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. See you on December 5, 2026—the best day of their lives, shared with the best people we know.
