Bailey and Adam met in 2013 at Hops Supply Co in Wilmington, NC when they were introduced to each other by Bailey's sister, Emily, and Adam's brother, Matt, who were dating at the time (now married). Five years, and a long chase later, they made it official.

In September, Adam took Bailey, who suspected something was up, to dinner at Tupelo Honey in Raleigh, NC. As they were about to leave dinner, Bailey's Mom invited the two over for a "golf-cart ride." When they arrived to the house, Bailey's parents were no where to be found, and Bailey definitely knew something was up. Adam walked Bailey to the screen porch where she saw "Will You Marry Me?" written in balloons and surrounded by lights, candles, and flowers. Bailey turned around, barely let Adam get on one knee, and may or may not have said yes through her excitement and shock. Their family and friends, hiding in the house, came outside to celebrate with them with dessert and champagne.
