After two years of dating, Jacob proposed in July of 2023 during our vacation in the upper peninsula of Michigan. After a sunset cruise to see the Pictured Rocks, Jacob asked me to go on a walk around Munising, MI with him to see if we could find a good place to look at the stars. Little did he know, it was the cloudiest night possible, so there were no stars. We walked aimlessly around the small town for about an hour before Jacob said "well this is bullshit, I tried to be romantic," and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

We decided that instead of having a big wedding, we would elope and get married in the mountains. We traveled with our closest friends and family to Hot Springs, NC in October, and on the 29th, we hiked Max Patch mountain got married at the top!

We are so excited to host a reception this summer to have an opportunity to celebrate with you all!
