Our Story

From High School to Forever

We met in 2019, during Kameron’s freshman year of high school and Bailey’s sophomore year. Bailey was playing football, and Kameron was on the volleyball team. We had math class together, but Bailey was more interested in throwing skittles and grapes at Kameron from across campus than actually talking to her. At that point, Kameron had a crush on Bailey, but he had a girlfriend, so nothing came of it.

Then COVID happened, and everything changed. When we returned to school for Kameron’s sophomore year, we ended up in the same math class again. But this time, Bailey didn’t have a girlfriend. He kept asking Kameron for help with his math homework, and of course, she agreed. One day, Bailey asked for Kameron’s number, and she quickly responded, “Don’t you have a girlfriend?” When he said “no,” she gave him her number, and from there, we became inseparable.

We started going to youth group together, and by September 11th, 2021, after much anticipation (and with her parents’ approval), Bailey officially asked Kameron to be his girlfriend in front of both of our families during her mom’s birthday dinner at Mexicali. It was a moment we’ll never forget!

As time went on, our relationship became more serious, and we started talking about the future—how we’d handle long distance while Kameron went to college, what God had in store for us, and whether we should get married. Though not all the questions have been answered yet, one thing we know for sure: we want to spend the rest of our lives together, loving each other and serving God.

When Kameron left for Cedarville University, things got tough. She faced an unforeseen illness that brought her back home. But through that challenge, we grew stronger. Bailey stood by her side, loving her and her family through it all, and we both grew in our faith. Looking back, that difficult season was truly a blessing in disguise.

Now, as we look forward to March 8th, we are incredibly excited to start this next chapter of our lives together. We’re thankful for the ways we’ve grown in our faith and relationship, and for the love and support from our families, church, and friends along the way. We ask that you continue to pray for us and our future marriage, that it may be glorifying to God in every way.

We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of you!
