During the Fall 2013 semester at the University of North Alabama, Bailey had to take Acting I as a course requirement. Near the beginning of the semester her professor told her Acting class they all had to go see the show some students were putting on. The show was The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), and it had only a three-man cast; one of the cast members was Adam. Bailey thought he was pretty cute, and a great actor, but didn't really think much about it, she'd never even met him in person.As the semester went on Bailey realized she was having a fun time in Acting class and decided to pluck up the courage to audition for the now annual production of A Christmas Carol. She was cast as Scrooge's older sister, and very excited about it. About a week later, the director asked if she would mind taking on an additional role, the wife of Scrooge's nephew. Bailey agreed and when she got to rehearsal, she learned that her onstage husband was none other than Adam St. John, ah the irony. While rehearsing for an opening scene (that eventually got cut) Bailey and Adam had to spend long hours standing in the wings of the stage, waiting to go on. This started out as awkward silence, until Adam finally decided to cut the awkwardness and had Bailey take his arm. Things changed from then on... But the awkwardness is still around. They fell in love
