Q + A

When do I need to RSVP by?

Our invitations ask that everyone RSVP’s by August 1st. If you have not yet RSVP’d - get on it! As we get closer to this exciting night, we are nailing down final details. If you are having trouble navigating our website or the RSVP function, please reach out to us so that we can get you taken care of!

What's up with the dress code?

Disco Glam Baby! We can’t wait to see all of our favorite people dressed to impress! Think glitter, sequins, florals, and lots of vibrant colors. Channel your inner disco diva and get ready to shine under the disco ball! Whether it’s sparkly pants, a floral dress, or anything that makes you feel fabulous, we want you to go all out. Please note that this is a formal event, so we kindly ask that you avoid jeans and casual wear in favor of your most glamorous Disco Glam attire. If you're feeling unsure about the dress code or just need a little hyping up, don't hesitate to reach out to us! We want everyone to look and FEEL their absolute best, so lets make this fun & stress free!

Important Notes for Attire

The entire wedding will be held on the lovely lawn of The Blue Bird Inn. We suggest wearing comfortable, flat shoes to navigate the grass with ease. If you prefer heels, go for a wider heel to avoid sinking. Feel free to bring a change of footwear to keep the dance party going all night long! September in Etna can often bring warm days and cooler evenings. To stay comfortable if that cool mountain breeze sneaks in, we recommend bringing a fun extra layer to keep warm & stylish all night!

Where the heck is Etna?

Our beautiful town of Etna is located in Scott Valley, California outside of Yreka. We are 5 hours north up I-5 from the SF Bay area and about 6 hours south of Portland, Oregon. If you are still having trouble navigating our tiny town, finding housing or arranging travel plans - please let us know if we can offer any guidance.

Can I bring a plus one?

While we love all of our people’s people, we both have very large families & are trying to keep our numbers as tight as possible. If you have a plus one in mind who was not listed on your invitation, please reach out to us directly and we will do our best to accommodate.

When should I arrive?

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 4pm, we ask that you arrive by 3:30pm to ensure you don’t miss any of the fun!
