Why isn’t everyone invited to the ceremony?

Our wedding day is truly special, and we are so grateful to share it with all of you! However, due to limited parking and accessibility at our ceremony location, we are keeping the ceremony itself intimate, with only close family and a select few friends in attendance. That being said, we are beyond excited to celebrate with each and every one of you at our reception, which will follow the ceremony! This is where we’ll truly let loose, laugh, and create unforgettable memories together. For those attending the ceremony, we will be providing all necessary details regarding the time and location to ensure you have everything you need to join us. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out! Thank you for your love and understanding as we plan a day that reflects who we are as a couple. We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

What is cocktail attire?

Cocktail attire is a semi-formal dress code that strikes a balance between formal and casual. It’s polished, stylish, and perfect for celebrating special events like weddings. Think elevated yet comfortable clothing that’s appropriate for an evening of mingling and dancing. Examples of cocktail attire: • For women: Midi or knee-length dresses, jumpsuits, or elegant skirts paired with blouses. Add heels, dressy flats, or accessories to elevate the look. • For men: A suit or dress slacks with a blazer, paired with a collared shirt and dress shoes. A tie is optional but always a nice touch. Keep it classy, celebratory, and comfortable for the occasion!

Are kids invited to the wedding?

While we adore your little ones, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that no children or babies attend. We hope this gives you the opportunity to enjoy a special evening out with your spouse and celebrate with us!

What if we don’t RSVP by the deadline?

If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, there will not be a spot reserved for you at either the ceremony or reception. Our vendors require a final headcount, and without your response, we cannot make arrangements for your seating or meal. We are sorry to hear that you won’t be able to join us, but you will be automatically marked as “not attending,” and your spot will be forfeited.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to space restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. Your invitation will list everyone who is invited on the front, so please check carefully. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our celebration intimate!

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Please, NO phones or cameras out at all during the ceremony! We kindly ask that no photos & videos be taken during the ceremony. We are having an unplugged ceremony and are paying a professional photographer to capture these special moments for us. We hope all our guests will be fully present and enjoy this time with us, without any distractions. We’ll be happy to share the professional photos with anyone who would like them afterward. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep the moment intimate!
