Dressy casual, like you were going out to a nice dinner. Dark jeans, trousers, or dress pants. Blouses, sun dresses, skirts, and nice jumpsuits.

We are so excited to celebrate with you and take advantage of the splendor of late summer in the Catskills! For our wedding ceremony and reception, we are envisioning semi-formal dress where people can have fun with colorful outfits if they wish. Men are welcome to wear suits, or blazers with a button-down and dress pants. Women are welcome to wear dresses of any length, formal jumpsuits, or dressy separates. A few things to keep in mind: our ceremony is on grass, and we're hoping to end our night dancing away under the outdoor tent!

Our venue can't accommodate vehicles on our wedding day (and it's too remote to rely on Uber/Lyfts), so we will be providing shuttle service from several nearby hotels. If you aren't staying at a hotel with a shuttle stop, just make sure you travel to one of the designated hotels to catch transportation. We will publish a shuttle schedule closer to the date.

Confirmed shuttle stops will be at the Emerson, Howland House, Catskill Rose, the Phoenicia Lodge, Catskill Seasons Inn, and the Perch Cottages. Check out the dedicated web page for our shuttle schedule.

We have small welcome bags with snacks, Liquid IV (thanks Aaron!) and other goodies. If you are at any of the recommended hotels, they should have some behind the desk for you. If you are staying at an Airbnb or a different hotel, we'll have welcome bags for you at Friday night's Welcome Party.

Mt. Tremper (Foxfire Mountain House's location) is about a two hour drive from New York City and its surrounding airports. It is fairly remote and there is limited public transportation, but one could take a train to Kingston and schedule a taxi in advance (take the Metro North train via Grand Central, or Amtrak via Penn Station). A Trailways bus can also be taken from New York City to Mt. Tremper.

We recommend flying in to Newark, JFK, or La Guardia Airport. Albany airport is smaller, but is also a decent option. Thank you for making the journey to celebrate with us!

We suggest booking ASAP. There is limited lodging in the Catskills (despite so many wedding venues!) and options go quickly. Please check out our Travel page for recommended hotels, or feel free to book your own. Just make sure to check which hotels include a shuttle stop.

Most of the hotels in the Catskills have a two-night minimum, but the nearby town of Kingston has many hotels that are bookable for one night. Guests can then drive themselves (or schedule a taxi/uber) from Kingston to a hotel with a shuttle stop.

We are planning an intimate ceremony and our venue has a hard cap on attendees. Unfortunately we can't offer +1s for our wedding; the only people invited are the people named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding
