Abby and Bailey met the day that rugby and theater combined.

Bailey will say that she shook Abby's hand and knew that her life was changed forever.

Abby will say that she showed up to a rehearsal to recruit new rugby players.

After their initial introduction, Bailey was constantly texting Abby, always looking for ways to get her attention. Abby just thought she had a new potential rugby recruit. Eventually Abby's coworker told her that he only texts people he likes, and the lightbulb finally went on.

On their first date, Abby brought over Holy Land for dinner and they watched the entire second season of Derry Girls. It took them about four hours to finally hold hands. After that first week, Abby came over to Bailey's apartment and um, well, never left.

Bailey picked out a ring about six months into their relationship, and on a trip to Europe with family, she carried it with her across three countries before they made their way to the Aran Islands in Ireland. After a whirlwind rainstorm cleared all the tourists from their path and they only had the gorgeous stone walls, the horse and cows on a now stunning Irish day, Bailey asked Abby if she'd "please" marry her. (Pretty sure she said "please" multiple times...)

Now after six years together, a global pandemic, so many trips to the Cape, Provincetown, Europe, every rugby tour they could manage, a house, our perfect dog Trudy, the infamous Subaru, and here we are. About to throw all you bitches the party of the century.
