The dress code for our wedding is black tie. Ladies should wear floor length formal dresses, and the gentleman should wear a tuxedo with black necktie or bowtie. The bridesmaid dresses are light blue.

Yes, there will be a 2.5 hour time-gap between the wedding ceremony and reception. Please feel free to refresh at your hotel, grab a drink at the Kimpton or Thompson hotel bar, or walk around Buckhead Village!

Transportation will not be provided to the Wedding Ceremony at Cathedral of Christ the King. We recommend using Uber or Lyft. Transportation will be provided from the Kimpton to the reception and then following the reception for a night out with the bride and groom OR back to select hotels.

Yes! The Buckhead area is very walkable. There are also plenty of Ubers and Lyfts to get around without a car.

July is one of the hottest months in Atlanta, typically ~80 - 90 degrees. Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors (plenty of air conditioning!) Our cocktail hour in the evening will be outside at the Boxwood Garden.

Yes! If you choose to drive your own vehicle, there is plenty of complimentary covered parking at the Cathedral of Christ the King. There will also be complimentary parking at the Atlanta History Center. However, as we celebrate this special day, let's also prioritize safety. Please don't drink and drive. We encourage you to plan ahead and arrange for a sober ride home.
