What happens in Mexico doesn't always stay in Mexico....

There was a lot of Divine intervention for Tyler and Bailey to meet. Tyler was supposed to go to Mexico in March of 2020 but, due to Covid, the trip was canceled and rescheduled for March of 2021. Bailey was in her junior year of nursing school at SDSU and decided to go to Mexico for Spring Break in March of 2021 with her high school best friends. Due to Covid, passport times were extended, so Bailey expedited her passport and it arrived just two days before she was set to leave (she had one day left to cancel her trip). When Bailey and her friends arrived in Mexico they immediately went to the swim up bar (of course) and met the Minnesota crew. Over the following days Bailey and Tyler really started hitting it off. On Bailey's final day there, Tyler's friends invited her to go for dinner with them, which she agreed to. When they got to the restaurant, the reservation was only made for two people, so they forced Tyler and Bailey to go on a date. Let me tell you, it was the most awkward date in history.

After the painfully awkward date in Mexico, Tyler and Bailey decided they still wanted to see each other back in the US. A couple weeks after the trip, Tyler drove from Freeport, MN to Brookings, SD for an “anything but a cup” party Bailey and her friends were hosting. Tyler fit right in with her crew and impressed everyone! Bailey and Tyler started “officially” dating that May. Even though there was over a 3 hour distance between them, they always prioritized each other and made it work. After Bailey graduated from SDSU, she moved to Sioux Falls and extended their distance as Tyler was still living in Freeport, MN. After a year of living in Sioux Falls, Bailey decided to close the gap between them and move to Minnesota and the rest is history!
