Parker and I became friends while studying abroad in South America during the spring of our sophomore year. We had many awesome adventures together that deepened our friendship. For example, hiking Laguna de los Tres in Patagonia and the Inca Trail in Peru, exploring Machu Picchu and Cusco, and fishing for piranha in the Amazon. The final stop on our trip was Easter Island, and the night before we began our journey home Parker asked me to be his girlfriend!

When we finally made it back to Searcy, Parker and I went on our first date at Greek House. Then I had to head home to Tulsa for my youth intern summer, and Parker headed out to Camp Tahkodah, but we FaceTimed whenever we could!

We've had a lot of fun times since then, so here's a quick recap! Many functions with our social clubs!

Parker's white coat ceremony! He's currently a first year medical student at AWSOM in Bentonville, and I'm in the first year of my Master's of Speech-Language Pathology program at Harding. We're so grateful to be where we are today, and we're very excited and prayerful about our future. Now let's get married!!
