Our Wedding

In July 2022, Bailey traveled to Tybee Island, GA, for her friend Jennifer’s bachelorette party. Coincidentally, Tony was also heading to Tybee Island for a guys trip. On the first night, the groups ended up at the same local bar, and there was an immediate connection between the two. They spent the weekend hitting the beach and exploring the local bars together, and it was clear that Tony and Bailey had a special spark. By the end of the trip, they both knew they wanted to see each other again, despite Tony being based in Miami and Bailey in Houston at the time. Fortunately, Bailey’s job as a flight attendant made long-distance easier to manage. On August 21, 2022, on South Beach in Miami, Tony asked Bailey to be his girlfriend. Shortly after, Tony moved to Ohio for a hospital rotation, while Bailey relocated to Virginia to work out of Washington Dulles Airport. Their travels took them to Yellowstone National Park, where Tony proposed after a year of dating. A few months later, having completed medical school, Tony moved to Virginia to be with Bailey. Six months after that, Tony matched at a hospital in Bradenton, Florida, for his residency, and the couple moved to Florida in June. They are now enjoying life by the water and excitedly planning their wedding, which will take place in May.

If you send a email or have to leave a&nbsp;message please include your name, the wedding date, which type of unit you wish to book, and a call back number. The reservation process takes about 3-5 minutes. Maggie or another representative will apply the wedding discount. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. You can pay by credit card or by check to avoid the processing&nbsp;fee. All balances will be due 14 days before your arrival date.&nbsp; All checks need to&nbsp;be made out to Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure &amp; in the memo line please write the unit you have reserved. They can be mailed to&nbsp;<a href="https:" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">112 Mountains Blvd. Lake Lure, NC 28746</a>&nbsp;and put to the attention of Guest Services. We highly recommend staying at Rumbling Bald, where you'll have access to a range of outstanding amenities. Guests can enjoy two 18-hole championship golf courses, extensive hiking and biking trails, racquet sports, mini golf, a spa and salon, and much more! For additional details, please check out the 'Things to Do' section. If you prefer Airbnb or hotel accommodations, there are some lovely options nearby. However, please note that ride-sharing services like Uber are limited, and the local roads can be quite winding.
