Our story started January 29th, 2022 at the annual fundraising dance for catholic young adults hosted at the Bold Monk Brewery. We met when her friend started chatting with one of my buddies so naturally I introduced myself. I quickly realized that I wanted to show off a little bit so I asked her if she knew how to swing dance.

She didn’t.

So I smiled and said I’ll teach you, and started spinning her around the dance floor. After teaching her some of our favorite dance moves I knew I had a winner and everyone agreed! (Including her, I was later told that she had decided she wasn’t leaving without my number.) We had such great chemistry after such a short time many of my friends started assuming that we were already a couple! When we informed them we had known each other for all of 20 minutes we were told what a great couple we would make.

After making our rounds I took her back on the dance floor where we spent the rest of the evening. My friend Joe was highly invested in our unfolding love story to the point he promised that he was putting in a good word for me and we all met afterwards at another bar for an afterparty. Unfortunately that bar had no room and it was freezing. So I ended up asking Bailey if she would go on date with me. Obviously she said yes, and now I’m here writing our story.
