What happens during a traditional American wedding?

The celebration begins with a heartfelt ceremony, honoring the love and commitment between the bride and groom. Following the ceremony, guests will be invited to the lawn for "Cocktail Hour," where light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served as the bridal party takes their photos. Afterward, guests will have a chance to take photos with the bride and groom before heading upstairs for the reception. The reception will feature a special dance by the bride and groom, a delicious full-service buffet style dinner, the iconic cake-cutting moment, drinks, and plenty of dancing. The evening will conclude with a stylish send-off for the bride and groom, marking the perfect end to this joyous celebration.

What to Expect

Please click the link below to watch a short video where Bailey will give a more detailed rundown of the different aspects of the wedding.

What do I wear?

Moni and I have already tied the knot the Indian way, and now it’s time to celebrate our marriage the American way! 🎉 For this special occasion, we’d love for you to dress in Black Tie Attire. To make it easier, we’ve included a couple of links below with outfit examples to help you plan. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! 💕 ***Kindly AVOID wearing all-white outfits to our wedding. White is a special color reserved for the bride, and in American tradition, it’s considered disrespectful for women to wear white to someone else’s big day. Thanks for understanding and helping us keep this special tradition! 💕***
