Markus and Bailey met October 2nd, 2014. It was the day after Markus's birthday and a mutual friend was hosting a birthday dinner for him. They had never (Officially) met before and did not talk to each other the entire dinner...Markus was playing hard to get. After they ate, everyone decided to go out for drinks at Joe's Bar. At the bar Bailey was looking for a place to sit down at the group's table. Out of no where, Markus offers his seat up to Bailey. They ended up sitting next to each other the whole night, laughing and getting to know each other. Bailey was completely hooked by his charm and whit. A week later, Markus took Bailey on their first date to the Pour House in Chico. They have been inseparable after that.

Two years later they made their first big relationship commitment and decided to move in together. They moved from Chico to Sacramento into their first apartment. Markus's company moved to Woodland, CA and Bailey was offered her first grownup job in Rancho Cordova, CA. In July of 2016, they made their first big purchase as a couple.... it was a puppy!!! Yoda has blessed their lives with so much energy, excitement, and hidden bones around the apartment. They could not of asked for more from their perfect little family.

AND THEN CAME THE BIGGEST SURPRISE OF ALL.....Christmas night, 2016, they had just gotten home from a long Christmas day (both tired and Bailey a bit disappointed about not receiving THE GIFT yet) when Markus told Bailey that she had one more gift under the tree. Thinking nothing of it, Bailey opened the medium sized box to find a Mickey and Minnie Mouse salt and pepper shaker dressed in wedding attire. And with much to Bailey's surprise an engagement ring was strategically placed between the salt and pepper shakers and lodged into the plastic covering. In shock, Bailey looks up to see Markus down on one knee and thats when she knew it was finally happening. He asked and she said about damn time!

On October 7th, 2017 their story will only just begin as they plan to make more and more memories together...
