LaMon and Bali first met in November 2015 while in college at Mississippi State University. Bali was a Junior and LaMon was a senior at the time. LaMon was working for Adidas as a marketing rep and Bali was playing volleyball. They first made contact after LaMon posted a picture of the most unique pair of zebra print maroon and white socks. Bali was intrigued because LaMon mentioned on his social media that he was giving them away. Bali messaged him right away inquiring about the socks as they would look great with her volleyball gear. He messaged back immediately. Little did Bali know, LaMon lived in the apartment above her and had already told his friends that he planned on pursuing a relationship with Bali long before Bali knew LaMon existed. As fate should have it they met up, and hit it off right away. They ended up making their relationship official a month later on December 16th 2015.

LaMon graduated but did not want to leave Bali behind so he stuck around and found a job close to campus so they could continue to build their relationship together.

Bali graduated and moved to Texas. Sadly this forced LaMon and Bali into a long distance relationship. They were not worried as they knew they would be able to make it work.

LaMon and Bali kept their relationship alive with frequent visits and talked on the phone all day everyday.

Eventually, LaMon and Bali decided that long distance dating was wack and LaMon decided to move to Texas. This worked out because LaMon also felt that living in Texas would present better opportunities for him as he pursued his life long dream of becoming a pilot.

2020 was a weird year for everyone but it came and went. LaMon started making strides toward his pilot dreams and Bali was in nursing school, but they still found time to enjoy the simple things in life.

In 2021 LaMon and Bali were just getting back to normal. They were both achieving their goals and finally getting to a point where they could focus on each other.

2022 is the year LaMon and Bali got engaged! LaMon proposed to Bali on their 7th anniversary in the beautiful city of Tulum, Mexico.

Fast forward to 2024, the future newlyweds are planning their wedding. Neither of the two are the planning type but they are eager for their big day to come and excited for the day that they finally become Mr. & Mrs. Walker!
