Gastronomic Tour of San Jose We will start with a tour picking up everybody at a central place or at their lodging. We will visit the heart of San José, the gastronomic hub of Costa Rica. A combination of walking and short bus rides will take you to two restaurants that represent the old and the new styles of Costa Rica’s cuisine. In between restaurants, we’ll talk about the history of the neighborhood and some particularities about Costa Rica. There will be opportunities to meet with some of the most adventurous and groundbreaking chefs and restaurant owners. The evening will finish with the bus returning you to the same location where you were picked up.

After breakfast at your lodging, your driver will pick you up at your lodging or a central location to start your journey to your second destination in Costa Rica. You will travel some of the most scenic routes to the Arenal Volcano Area. Your bus will leave you at your lodging to check-in. Later this evening, you'll go to a local Costa Rican restaurant as a group to enjoy a selection of local delicacies. Your private bus will return you to your hotel after dinner. NOTE: the private bus will drive you as close as possible to your lodging if this is reserved on your own. We need to plot a route we know will be accessible for the bus and it we cannot guarantee all lodging options in the area, except the ones the travel agency suggests.

From 10am to 10pm you'll have access to a unique volcanic spa experience. Spend the day exploring the tropical gardens, unwind in the best hot springs in Arenal and indulge in a fantastic culinary experience that focuses on local ingredients and unique flavors. You'll have your choice between lunch or dinner at Ave Restaurant and includes one starter, one main course, one dessert and one non-alcoholic drink per person. After arrival, you'll be welcome with a tropical non-alcoholic drink. They will provide you with towels and lockers. You'll also have access to the private parking lot to keep your car safe. Notes: includes lunch or dinner, and entrance fees.

After breakfast at your hotel, in the late morning, your driver will take to your second and most important destination of the trip, Santa Teresa. The trip is around 4 hours, not due to the distance but because of the Costa Rican roads and traffic. Don't worry, the scenes along the road are worth it and you will stop at a restaurant along the way for lunch. Once you arrive to your destination, the bus will take you to your lodging or a central point. You will have time to visit the beach where you will relax, have some adventures and enjoy the wedding celebrations.
