TJ and Barbara met in May of 2021 when TJ came into Paul Davis Restoration looking for a job. Their relationship started out as friends who were texting and then in late June, they made it official. Their official first date was a TV night at TJ’s with Max’s Pizza. They spent the evening laughing and watching One Tree Hill.

Their first year together has been nothing short of amazing. On October 23rd, 2021, they took a road trip to Concord to pick up TJ’s new buddy, Bear. While they thought Bear was going to be solely TJ’s buddy, he has also gotten to be very close and very spoiled by Barbara. TJ’s oldest baby, Bandit, and Bear, get along great. One minute, they’re howling and barking at each other and then the next, the two are laying beside each other on the couch. In June, they celebrated their one year anniversary!

October 16th was a very special day! They went for a walk on the beach with TJ’s family. Barbara, Mrs. Brantley, Abigale and TJ’s Nanny walked down the beach and then came back to meet TJ and his Dad beneath the pier for pictures with the birthday girl! Once the last picture was taken, Mrs. Brantley told Barbara to turn around where she would find TJ down on one knee and he had written, “Will You Marry Me?” in the sand!

Barbara and TJ are each other’s best friend! TJ’s calm personality keeps Barbara grounded and Barbara’s spontaneous personality definitely keeps TJ on his toes! They are the perfect match! TJ loves his fishing and Barbara loves her football!
