Saint Patrick's Day Concert in Catonsville, MD. Also Felix's 3rd Birthday

Dinner at Gertrude's Restaurant in Baltimore Museum of Art. We had just celebrated Basia's friend Dr. Megan Collins receiving the Allan and Claire Jensen Professor of Ophthalmology Endowment, subsequently got a flat tire coming home and went somewhere local for dinner instead of Frederick, MD. It was here we first said "I love you".

Joined Fernando and Sergio in Virginia for a get-a-way weekend and had a detour night in Cape Charles just the two of us. We found we can both do flat biking reasonably well. Only minor injuries sustained on this day.

On return from Cape Charles, we decided to do a fun ride in Cockeysville after Stephen procured a bike for Basia (very inexpensive repairs). Only this quick trip soon turned prolonged when Basia's bike had slow gears and was extremely heavy. Stephen thought Basia was just unfit, until they changed bikes... Victory photo.

Adventures in Ringwood State Park, NJ Basia had asked Stephen if we go away, lets go somewhere we can swim. The local "best" swimming location was a man made quarry, expensive and a little interesting. Dinner was great though.

In the evenings, Stephen and I will do paperwork, work, and often coordinate schedules. But not without a little helper or three. Teatley Tea Bag (1 year old cat) did not want to be left out of planning!

After catching COVID again in September 2022, Stephen joined Basia in Sunny Southern California to meet Gabi and Patrick! Stephen surprised the group with a wine tasting in Santa Barbara at Margerum Wine Company.

Stephen wanted to see what all the hype was about. East Coast versus West Coast burgers. Who won?

Sue (Mom) and Pat joined Basia and Stephen on the East Coast for a visit and journeyed together to the Shenandoah National Park for Fall. Great views, and even better food!

Basia's favourite neighbor, Ms Lousie, snapped this gem on Basia's 34th birthday as Stephen and Basia were heading out to dinner after stopping by to say hello. Ms Louise has been Basia's Baltimore City neighbor for the past 9 years this August 2023.

Basia and Stephen's one year anniversary included a trip to Marylands local ski resort. Too bad there wasn't a lot of snow! But we tried skiing for an hour or so!

Basia convinced Stephen to cross the pond and visit England for Annabel's wedding. We were so grateful to Sally and John Nunn for hosting us! And Jessica Nunn Renshaw for letting me borrow her coat! Haha

We had seen the house of our dreams, but had not moved out of fear. Instead we took Felix to Green Meadow Farms to meet the Easter Bunny and maybe get a chocolate egg or two.

We had put an offer in on a new house and started the moving process. This meant great fun for Felix (BOXES everywhere!)

With the help of our dear friends Sergio, Gabi, and Basia's mom Sue, Stephen coordinated a surprise proposal at the playground where Basia first met his son Felix for a playdate. It was then, Stephen confessed in a personal card, that he realized he wanted to marry Basia and make a family together. Stephen had been waiting since October 2022.

On a Sunset Boat Cruise in Severn, MD Basia is still in shock over the proposal! And Stephen! Haha
