Matthew and Baylee officially met in high school. The young couple had shared many classes together throughout the years, yet their paths had not crossed until the early summer of 2018.

The two shared many mutual friends, all of which hung around at the Skid Pad (a local gravel lot where everyone dropped their tailgates and hung out) making memories and staying out of trouble...for the most part.

The young couple started hanging out, just the two of them, and the spark began to fly. They became closer and knew there was something special about one another. It wasn't until the day Matthew and Baylee loaded up her Ford Escape with fishing gear and headed to the lake. This was when Matthew called Baylee "his girlfriend". To which she responded "Girlfriend? You haven't even asked me?" Matthew said, "Well, yeah. I've been spending more time with you than I have with my own family. Of course you're my girlfriend!". And well, the rest will become history as the two continue to hit milestones, make memories, and write chapters of their lives together. With God at their center, love will prevail and their relationship will remain strong. Psalms 18:1-3 this scripture will guide their future in love and in marriage.
