Baylee and Morgan’s love story began on one of the coldest weeks in February 2021—when most people were tucked inside, avoiding the frigid Oklahoma air. But fate had other plans. They met while working at the same restaurant in Edmond, and despite the freezing temperatures, something sparked between them. Morgan had just returned from boot camp with the Air Guard, and it didn’t take long for them to connect.
Their first date took place at Cracker Barrel. And in true Morgan style, he showed up with a chess set to pass the time while they waited at the table. The game filled the moments as they waited at the table, but more importantly, it marked the beginning of something greater than either of them expected. Just weeks later, Morgan left for additional training with the Air Guard, taking him away for five long months. The distance could have easily created a gap, but instead, it solidified their bond.
The couple’s journey didn’t stop there. In the fall of 2023, Morgan was deployed overseas for six months. During this time, Baylee dove into her love of the arts – taking painting classes, participating in community theatre and teaching elementary music. Through every mile, challenge and phone call, Baylee and Morgan’s relationship remained strong. They leaned on faith, family, and each other, growing stronger with every step.
Their shared love for adventure and simple joys brought them closer. Golfing became one of their favorite activities, leading to a beautiful proposal on June 28 at the 17th hole of the Winter Creek Golf Course. In that serene moment, with nature as their witness, Morgan asked Baylee to spend forever with him.
Now, they share their home with two goofy dogs, Beau and Hosnar, who fill their days with joy – and a little bit of mischief. Whether binge-watching shows, attending church, or just enjoying time with their pups, Baylee and Morgan have found that love flourishes in the quiet, everyday moments.
Their wedding on June 13 will mark the start of a new chapter, but their love is a testament to patience, faith, and the beauty of finding joy in every season.
