Josh and Baylee first crossed paths in January 2018, introduced by mutual friends. Their connection was immediate, and they quickly discovered their shared love for rodeo, horses, and the western lifestyle. By the fall of 2018, Baylee had relocated to Viking, where Josh and his family resided. Over the next three years, she spent summers there, balancing her time with studies at the University of Saskatchewan.

In 2020, Josh and Baylee purchased their own place just north of Viking, creating a home where they now share the company of their two dogs, two horses, and enjoy the support of great friends and family. On January 12th, 2024, almost six years after their initial meeting, Josh proposed to Baylee. They eagerly anticipate celebrating their special day with loved ones on October 19th, 2024.
