Dylan and I met somewhat by chance. My aunt, who works in real estate, was working with Dylan's sister. Somehow, the subject of Dylan being single came up. Kaelan was looking for someone to set her brother up with. I think the actual conversation was "I want to set my brother up with someone, but he's kind of weird." Me, being a fellow "weirdo", got thrown into the mix by my aunt Charlin. One thing led to another, and Dylan asked me out. They showed him some VERY old pictures of me, and the rest was history!

We met up for our first date in Floresville. We were supposed to have dinner at Trail Riders, but it just so happened to be closed that day. We decided to move our date to Mavericks, and against my better judgement, I got in a car with a man I had just met. We spent our first date talking about typical first date stuff, but my selling point was when Dylan was driving me back to where my car was parked at Trail Riders and he played me some of their songs. In case you didn't know, Dylan is in a band! At that time, their stuff wasn't on Spotify yet, so that should be a testament to how much I liked him! We went on a few more dates, and in Dylan's words, "took things slow." Then, maybe a month later, I met his parents and close family. He never got rid of me after that!

Honestly, I wouldn't change a single thing about our story. I truly won the fiancé/husband jackpot. Thank you to everyone who has had some sort of involvement in our story! I can't wait to marry my best friend.
