What is the attire for the wedding?
We ask that attire be semi-formal or cocktail. The ceremony will be outside so try to dress for June weather. Also, please veer away from yellow and navy blue. as that is the wedding party attire. If possible, women can wear pastels to go with the theme.
Are plus-ones and children allowed?
We would love to share our day with so many people, but sadly space is not unlimited. Any plus-one that has been granted has been formally added to the save the date/ invitation.
As for children, we are asking that nobody under the age of 16 be in attendance. Anybody invited should have a formal invitation.
Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?
You can post what you would like of yourself/guests at our wedding during the reception. We just ask that we are not posted before we are able to post ourselves, and that photos are not taken during the ceremony.
Is there parking available at the venue?
There is parking available at the venue. You are also permitted to leave your car at the venue up until 12 pm the next day (Sunday, June 14th) to ensure that everybody gets home safe.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be an open bar for our guests to enjoy during cocktail hour and during the reception.
What time is the wedding ceremony?
The ceremony will start at 4pm.
Do you have hotel blocks for the wedding weekend?
We have hotel blocks at 2 different hotels in Champaign for you to choose from. You can view these in the "travel" tab of the website. There will be transportation from the venue to these hotels to ensure the safety of our guests.
Is there transportation to the venue?
There will be 2 party buses picking guests up from the blocked hotels and transporting them to the venue and back. Both will leave the hotels at 3:25 pm. There will then be a bus at 10 pm and 11 pm to transport guests back to the hotel.
What food will be offered?
During cocktail hour, there will be charcuterie boards for guests to snack on. For dinner, we will be serving pulled pork and chicken, green beans, corn, mac and cheese, and pasta salad. Later in the night, there will be a late night snack from Nate Dawgs’s food truck.
