Hello! My name is Deanna Peck and I will be your travel consultant for Baylee and Logan's destination wedding at Beaches Turks and Caicos! My role will be to book your accommodations and to answer any questions you may have regarding the resort.
As you may know, the wedding date is May 11, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
I'm going to run down a few things for you to know about the resort, the booking process, airfare, travel protection, payment options, etc.
Here goes...
THE RESORT
Beaches Turks and Caicos is a 5-star luxury, all-inclusive family resort on one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, Grace Bay. This resort has 5 villages, each with their own architecture and ambiance: Italian Village, French Village, Caribbean Village and Key West Village. Behind the French Village is a 45,000 square- foot water park. The resort has 21 restaurants and 10 pools. Lots of activities for everyone from tots to tweens and teens, featuring Sesame Street® characters , an Xbox Play Lounge and a teen disco. The resort has different entertainment shows, theme nights and pool activities. All non-motorized watersports are included.
You may choose whichever village you would like to stay in, but the Caribbean Village is the most cost effective. They usually sell out pretty quickly. No matter which village you choose to stay in, you have access to them all! All the pools, all the restaurants, all the bars and all of the entertainment are accessible to you.
The link to the resort is below. Click "Sleep" at the top of the page to look at the room categories and accommodations. Beaches has 3 room categories: Luxury, Concierge and Butler. Luxury is your basic room; bed, bathroom, table, fridge, TV. All rooms come with the refrigerator stocked with beer, soda, water and wine. Concierge offers the same as Luxury, but you get a full bar with top shelf liquor (whiskey/bourbon, rum, tequila, gin) in your room, room service and assistance with reserving spa treatments, cabana rentals, excursions and dinner reservations. Butler rooms come with everything and are assigned two butlers; 1 for the day and 1 for the night, giving you 24-hour service.

TIPPING
Tipping is not permitted at Beaches, WITH THE EXCEPTION of butlers and spa employees. You may tip your driver when being dropped off at the resort.
BOOKINGS
I have created a group for this event, so it is imperative that you book through me to receive any incentives and to be a part of the wedding ceremony and reception. Once you have decided which room you would like, please email me the room category (If you need help deciding, just shoot me an email and I can send you room information) and I will book your accommodations The minimum stay at this resort is 3 nights. Once I secure the booking, I will send you an email with the details.
AIRFARE
Airfare is not out yet for 2024. It should be out around June, 2023. Hopefully all this nonsense with flight cancellations will be over by then
The only non-stop flights to Turks and Caicos (from Philadelphia or Baltimore) are on Saturdays. Any other day of the week will require a layover. I can book your airfare for you, or you may book it yourself. If you want to use any points that you have accumulated, you will need to book the air on your own. Unfortunately, Beaches air department will not apply points to airfare booked with them.
Beaches provides complimentary round trip shared airport transfers . If you book a butler room, you will get private transfers for everyone in your room.
VACCINATION STATUS
Turks and Caicos currently requires everyone over the age of 16 to have had the Covid-19 vaccination. This may change by the time you travel and I will keep you posted on that. You will be required to show proof at the airport when checking in for your flight.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Once I create the booking and a booking number is assigned, you will need to make a minimum deposit within 24 hours. The minimum deposit is $400 per room. You may pay $98 to hold the room and then in 21 days $302 will automatically be deducted from the credit card you paid the initial deposit. This satisfies the $400 minimum deposit.
You have two options for making payments:
1. You can provide me with your credit card information and I can apply payments for you; OR
2. I will provide you with a payment link once the booking has been confirmed and you can make the payments on your own (I love that about Beaches and Sandals).
Your final payment will be due 60 days prior to arrival. I will send out a reminder if you have not paid in full by then. The resort will charge the balance to your credit card at 60 days out.
If you cancel 60 days or before, you are entitled to a 100% refund for any amount paid. This usually takes 28 days to process to your credit card you made payments on. If you cancel 59-31 days you are entitled to a 50% refund and if you cancel within 30 days, it is non-refundable. Unless you have travel protection.
TRAVEL PROTECTION (INSURANCE)
Beaches offers travel protection for a full credit should you cancel. They require full payment of the protection at the time of purchase and PRIOR to final payment. They have a set rate at $114 per person. Unless you book air with them, then it's $98 pp.
If you want to purchase cash back travel protection, I will send you a quote from a travel insurance company that will have a link that you will be able to purchase on your own any time prior to 3 days to departure. It is usually comparable to what Beaches offers, but gets a little more expensive the closer to the travel date.
I like to provide both options. It's really a personal preference. If you know you will want to travel to another Beaches or Sandals resort, you can opt for the full credit. If you don't think you will want to travel to Beaches or Sandals, go for the cash back!
If you do not purchase travel protection, I will send you a waiver for you to sign indicating you are refusing travel protection. In today's day and age, I highly recommend travel protection.
SPECIAL DIETS
Should you have any food allergies or have specific dietary needs, please let me know beforehand. The majority of the restaurants can accommodate special diets. I will have it noted on your reservation. Once on site you will meet with a dietary specialist who will ensure you are accommodated.
VETERANS/MILITARY AND FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS
Veterans, military members, firefighters who are a member of the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF), police officers and FEMA employees receive a 10% discount on their room reservation. You will need to present proof at check-in or they will charge you full price at check-out.

Dates you want to travel (arrival date and departure date)
Room category (or you can simply indicate the room name, i.e., "Caribbean Deluxe King") - or provide me with your budget and I will price the room out for you

Eligibility for the Veteran/Military, First Responder discount.

If you have traveled to Sandals or Beaches before, I will need your Sandals Select Reward Number (I can have them look it up if you do not have it, I will need the most recent dates you traveled and the resort traveled to) to see if you have any points that can be applied, reducing the cost of your room.
