Beatrice comes from a Ukrainian family. She was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey and went to Bucknell University for her undergraduate education in Computer Science. She then moved to South Bend, Indiana to pursue a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame. Kyle is from South Bend, Indiana and originally started as an Engineer at University of Dayton before transitioning to Accounting at Indiana University South Bend.

Beatrice and Kyle met through mutual friends, two weeks after Beatrice first moved to Indiana. From the moment they met, there was an instant and unbreakable connection. They spent their first evening sitting together all night, talking about music, their hometowns and backgrounds, and more. Three days later, they went on a double date, and from that point on they spent every day together.

Throughout their journey, Beatrice and Kyle have uplifted each other in their successes, supported each other through difficulties, and have enjoyed every second of their time together. Kyle showed Beatrice more of Indiana, Chicago, and Michigan, and Beatrice showed Kyle New York City, New Jersey, and Florida. Beatrice and Kyle continue to enjoy their adventures together, exploring restaurants, watching football and hockey, and relaxing at the beach (before Indiana's brutal winters come, of course).

Beatrice and Kyle got engaged on August 10th, in Central Park, surrounded by their families. Their love and bond continues to strengthen as they look forward to continuing to build their life together.
