It was late summer of 2015. The smell of French fries was in the air and the sound of glasses clinking together overlapping the cheerful hum of conversation echoed through the restaurant once named Merles. Amidst the hustle, two young souls, Mireya and Beau, found themselves working side by side- she a hostess and he a busser. What began as a long hours working together quickly turned into a friendship (one they did not realize would blossom into something extraordinary). After a few text exchanges, flirtatious smiles, and many nights working together, Beau had the courage to ask Mireya's mom, Lucy, if he could take Mireya out on a date. What a gentleman, right? They ended up going on an ice cream date and sharing their favorite flavors with each other. That was the date Beau said the five magical words: "Will you be my girlfriend?" Little did they know this was just the beginning of their story...

Together, they have journeyed through the years of high school, college acceptance letters, commuting to MSU Denver while working full time jobs, graduations, dreadful Covid, new careers, sharing a home with their beloved pets, and everything in between. Thriving as a team, always laughing, with countless adventures. It was December 31, 2022 when Beau proposed to Mireya in Glenwood Springs. The cheer of the New Year was right around the corner, the air was crisp, and snow casted a calmness on Hotel Colorado.

And here they are after nearly a decade of love, shared dreams, and ever-growing partnership, Mireya and Beau are excited to celebrate this new chapter of their story with their closest family and friends. They invite you to celebrate their " I do." chapter on September 5, 2025!
